Manjanathi/Nuna is an evergreen shrub or small
tree growing to 5 to 10 meters tall. Stem is short and crooked, with rough bark
with deep longitudinal cuts. Oppositely arranged leaves are 15 to 25 cm long. The
flowers are tubular, white, scented, about 2 cm long. The fruit is a green
syncarp, 2-2.5 cm diameter. it is a plant that grows commonly in all the places
and it will grow automatically as a tree. Nuna flowers would be pure white in
color.

About Manjanathi Leaves / Benefits of Nuna Leaves:-
Manjanathi plant / Nuna plant is an evergreen shrub or small tree growing to 5
to 10 meters tall. The stem is short and crooked, with rough bark with deep
longitudinal cuts. Oppositely arranged leaves are 15 to 25 cm long. The flowers
are tubular, white, scented, about 2 cm long. The fruit is a green syncarp,
2-2.5 cm in diameter. it is a plant that grows commonly in all the places and it will
grow automatically as a tree. Nuna flowers would be pure white in color. The
fruits would appear to be knotted ones and once they ripen, it would become
black in color. When it grows to be a tree, it will measure 15 ft.
approximately and inside part of this tree would be yellow in color which is
why this tree takes the nomenclature, ‘manjanathi’. It contains minerals
such as selenium and zinc.

and the powder becomes a good tooth powder. If one uses this powder for
cleaning teeth daily, tooth-related problems will be completely prevented.
